Created by Sukumar Ray in his famous 1923 book Abol Tabol, which features whimsical and nonsensical characters. Known for having a “thick and dark” personality, a partially-dazed (ঢুলু ঢুলু) eye, a massive face (মস্ত), a smart side-parting (টেরিখানা চোস্ত), a three-bent horn (তিন-বাঁকা শিং), and a curly tail (ল্যাজখানি প্যাঁচান). In the poem, the creature is described as not being a cow, but a bird, highlighting its surreal and satirical nature.
