Jagannath Dub Square Photo Frame 7″/7″

Based on the rituals of the Jagannath Temple in Puri, Lord Jagannath is offered daab (green coconut water) and similar cooling drinks, particularly during the summer and rainy seasons, such as during the Adhara Pana ritual in the Rath Yatra. On the last day of the Rath Yatra, large pots of pana (a sweet drink made with milk, cream, cheese, sugar, ginger, banana, and tender coconut water/daab) are offered to the deities on their chariots to quench their thirst.
